Toilet training
So far we have only had one poop accident in the house, otherwise it´s been deposited in the garden. For me this means that toilet training is coming along nicely. Last time we had a dog was our first time, and I definately think we learnt a lesson in doggy upbringing. Last time we made all the mistakes, this time it´s gonna be right!

We have only heard the dog bark a couple of times, she was probably too nervous the first day! But she seems to be a quiet dog by nature, which is releaving. Icelandic sheepdogs have had some bad rep about being barkers, but I think a lot of this is undeserved, as they have traditionally been kept in rural areas and not trained at all. At least Snotra´s parents did not bark at all when we came to visit on saturday, not when we knocked on the door, and not when we left with their baby... Very promising with regards to lacking barking-genes.

She is so adorable! I wish I had a digital camera, so I could post some pictures. You will just have to look at the pictures on Icelandic sheepdog sites. This one also has some information about Iceland. Here is an article on the features of the Icelandic Sheepdog.
