Cats and dogs

The cats are beginning to lighten up, but poor Sómi is having a hard time with accepting our newests member of the family. The cats are barely out of kittenhood themselves, so they should adapt quickly.

It´s really hilarious to watch them with her. Fróði is very curious about her, and is coming closer every day, he steps up to inspect her when she falls asleep on the floor. When she is awake however there is total miscomunication going on, she wags her tail and they think she´s angry, she gets down on her front legs to inlicit play and they think she´s going to attack. She loves stealing their toys, they have such cool things as sponge balls and furry mice. Yesterday, Fróði lay down in her new bed, like he was trying it on for size...

Sómi is having a hard time with this, I was getting worried that he hadn´t eaten a lot since saturday when the "beast" arrived. So yesterday I cooked some fish for them, which he was too afraid to eat, and he used to be the gourmet of the two, getting a big belly before he was even fully grown! This was pretty serious, so tonight I left him alone in the bathroom with a bowl of food, topped with some delicious fish. This morning we were releaved to find that he had eaten almost everything, so I will try to stop worrying about feline fatty liver syndrome...
